Sunday Post #15: Books for Days & Snow Love

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

You know the life of a book nerd… even though we don’t always have much time to read, somehow we find enough time to purchase more books. Yes, it absolutely happened during Black Friday and a little bit of last week lol. I took advantage of the whole deal going on with Book Outlet because it was just to easy to do so and those prices were hard to pass up. I also placed an order for my little ones because they need a few more books on their shelves as well.

With Christmas almost here, I couldn’t pass up all the sales happening around me so I picked up a few more in a couple of bargain shops.Going back to my Book Outlet orders, the other good thing about both of them is that they’re coming in later this week so it feels more like gifts (to myself yes, but gifts all the same 😜).  I’m also sharing a few books through giveaways I’m having on here and Twitter for most of December, so keep an eye out for them.

And yes, snow has finally arrived! I’m not a big fan of a lot of snow, which I don’t doubt most people aren’t, but I do enjoy a nice snowfall. It always makes everything feel more wintery and gives more of those holiday feels that I love. With the past weeks I’ve been having, this has really brightened up the rest of the coming week. The kids have already started enjoying some of it earlier today and I know they’re ready to start a few snowball fights at school.

There wasn’t a lot that we watched this week, but what we did was all Christmas related. I told you, I love the holidays! I wasn’t able to enjoy most of last month, especially with so much going on at work, but thankfully this month I’ve had a little extra time. The first two were The Santa Clause and The Santa Clause 2 (the third is coming soon). Then, per hubby’s request, we watched I’ll Be Home For Christmas. The last two my kids knew they were watching the minute they saw them available, so of course we had to see Trolls Holiday and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. Leaving you guys with a little more holiday cheer with a clip from Trolls Holiday.

Hope your week was a great one and that the coming one is filled with as many (and tons more) good vibes! Happy reading!

I saw the Trolls movie! It was okay, although a bit formulaic!

The shorter versions are not the best, but I found it cute in certain parts. My daughter enjoyed it as well, but definitely not as much as the actual movie.

I also bought books even though I have a huge To Read Pile currently. I can’t pass up a good deal and a good book!
