Sunday Post #14: Short Week & Holiday Feels
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
This past week seemed to pass faster than the last, leaving me a little frazzled and hoping for slower days for the rest of December. There is way too much that I still want to get done before the end of this year and the holidays are definitely one of those things. I am not ready to let go of Christmas just yet (Thanksgiving left way too quickly), so I’m trying to cherish it a little more even though time seems to have a different thought on the matter.
Either way, I did my best to get in some much needed reading because I’ve missed my time in the many worlds that fill my bookshelves. It’s a nice way to forget everything going on around me in the outside world, not that one can completely shut it out, but books do help a good amount. This past week’s reading absolutely made that (mostly) possible as they were some really good books. Can’t wait to get into a few more before having to say goodbye to this year.
Along with that, as mentioned above, was all the holiday goodies I’ve been seeing everywhere and the Christmas spirit that has been filling my house. Knowing that it won’t be long before this month also passes by quickly I want to enjoy it as much as I can. So, I’m going to try my hardest to try and make time move a little slower ( I know not realistic, but hey it could happen… maybe 😜). I really want to try and enjoy this month more than I did the last.

What I’m Watching
There were a few movies I was able to see this week (most during the weekend) and they were definitely worth the watch. Kingsman: The Golden Circle was better than I thought it was going to be, liked it a lot more than the first one. I also saw Home Again which I didn’t think I would be seeing anytime soon, but somehow it ended up happening and it was a decent movie. Of course, I had to watch some K-Dramas and one of them was Go Back Couple which I’m really loving right now. And yes, I had to include a few holiday movies (which I’ll be watching way more of soon) to complete my week and this week’s was Elf and Home Alone. Here’s a clip to leave you with more of those holiday feels!
Hope everyone has a great week and that it runs a little slower for you as well! Wishing you lots of holiday cheer with that as well! Happy reading and happy days!
