Sunday Post #12: Chill Days & Weekend Love
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
This week’s post is going up a little late, but only because I was enjoying the weekend a little too much lol. This past week was full of work, errands, and school related things for the kids so it definitely made a difference having the the weekend to chill. I was able to get a good amount of reading in (which is always a great way to start the weekend), a little bit of coloring, time with my loves, and a visit with a friend for much needed grown up time.
It’s taken some time to get adjusted to this schedule I’m on now, but I think I might be getting the hang of it more than I had been. Hoping I get even better at working with the time I have left throughout the week. For having a pretty busy week, I was able to get a good amount of posts up and work on a few more for the next week. I’ve changed around how I prioritize what I share on here, going by what time I have and making sure to keep it as stress free as possible.
I was having book withdrawals already, as I hadn’t been able to read much lately, so this week really felt good knowing that I was able to sit back and enjoy a few. It made things even better this week when I received book mail and watercolor pencils I had ordered off of Amazon. I hadn’t ever used any of those type so I made some time to test those out also and color in a few pages in my copy of Tokyo Street Style coloring book (review going up sometime this week).

What I’m Watching
There wasn’t much I watched this week, but the little I did wasn’t bad at all. I’m really starting to like this new show Kevin Probably Saves the World it is super quirky, but a really good watch. I also got to see The Lego Ninjago Movie with my little ones and it was just as cute as the other lego movies. Then I finally saw Nightworld which I had been really wanting to see, it wasn’t the best thing ever, but it wasn’t that bad either. I wish there had been more to the story though, seemed a little rushed, but I know that’s how they usually go. Leaving you guys with a clip from Kevin Probably…
Hope you all have a great week ahead and that it’s filled with all the things you want to do! Happy reading and happy days!
