Sunday Post #6: Book Mail & Reading Days
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
I had a different kind of busy going on this week and that was mostly having to do with books lol. It was a nice change from the previous week as I know I’m going to have more coming up this week with the kids already having picture day and their first scholastic book requests of the year, along with a few other things. So yes, I read a good amount of books this week, have a few giveaways going on, got some coloring, and received some awesome bookmail.
That was where my week really picked up, even more as I was feeling a little worn out and down in the beginning of the week and that cheered me up tons. There were a few books I was expecting, but didn’t know they would all be coming in together during this week, and a few wins that were the best yet, including some much anticipated YA books and the new Percy Jackson coloring book. Yeah, it felt like my birthday all over again.
I have book club coming up next week and a few extra reads so working on a couple of posts to have ready for the rest of the week. It’s been a quiet weekend so far and the weather just keeps getting fresher and there are fall feels all around us already. It just makes the want to read even more. It makes the coming up week have a good feel to it and I find it’s always the best way to start the rest of those weekdays.

What I’m Watching
There wasn’t many new movies or shows I caught up with this week, but there was a lot of Booktube… they’re just so addicting lol. I also watched The House because I had seen a preview for it and sounded like it was going to have tons of laughs involved and it didn’t disappoint. Another show I was not going to pass up was The Orville. There were some things I could have done without, but overall it was a good start to the show. What would the week be without K-Dramas? Just not a good week lol. There are always so many to choose from, it’s so hard to just watch one at a time, but I did and it was Cinderella and the Four Knights this week. Here’s to some more laughs and a nice start to your evening.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope your week is filled with lots of great reading moments and many new adventures!
