Top 5 Wednesday: Book Covers You’d Live In

Saw this at Windowsill Books and knew I wanted to participate. If you would like to also join in, check out all topics here.

Today it’s all about “Book Covers You’d Live In” and it was tons of fun searching my shelves for my top 5. It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s my favorite book, just that I’d really love to be living within that particular cover. There were so many, but of course I could only pick five so for now I’ll settle for my tops lol.

Of course, my first pick would be Doctor Who: Time Lord Fairy Tales. I mean, who wouldn’t want to live within that cover, getting to travel everywhere in the Tardis…. um, yes please. Maybe if I could just omit the part where my life would be at risk every second, it would be perfect.

Aside from the fire part, I’d love to be able to live in Paper and Fire cover. Look at that library, endless. It is a book lovers dream and it would be awesome to be able to jump in there. Even more better, if I could bring some friends along to enjoy it as well.

This one was definitely making the list. Every Heart a Doorway has such a catching cover with that door that could lead to anywhere. It would be such a great adventure being able to see what’s on the other side and where it leads to.

I knew right away that Daughter of the Burning City was a cover I wanted to include in this list. A circus city that looks like it’s full of life and mystery, sounds like an interesting cover to take part in. Always something going on and never a dull moment.

I love the way Taken looks. It reminds me of a dream world or something more supernatural. Everything about it from the skies, to the upside down view of it, it’s all so mesmerizing and intriguing.

It was tons of fun looking through all the covers and seeing which ones I would really love to live in. The covers have always been a part of how I choose a book, but this time around I really had to look at only the cover; a picture with its own story outside of the actual story within. So much fun!

Yes! I’m really looking forward to that novel, it has tons of feels and that’s just from the cover and synopsis. Can’t wait to also start it <3

What a fun top 5 idea, I might have to do this one! Seriously the Doctor Who pick made me so happy, the Tardis is amazing and I’d love to travel through time (especially the past!) and see all of the great eras. I’ve yet to read the other books on the list but all of them look so magical. <3

Yup, I had so much fun doing this one! There was no way I could leave out the Doctor and his Tardis. It would be great if that could really happen, wouldn’t mind going on that adventure and we can always come back to our time (well mostly lol). I have yet to read three of those, but couldn’t say no to those covers. They’re looking pretty on my shelves and they’re calling my name, so soon… very soon.
