Goodreads Synopsis: Everyone loses once in a while. But being a good sport when you lose isn’t always easy—not even for Rainbow Fish. A lighthearted look at accepting loss without losing your sparkle!
This is cute book, with even cuter illustrations. It was written well for a child to comprehend and enjoy with a fun game of hide-and-seek added to the mix. It was a little bit longer, but it kept my daughter entertained especially with all the bright colors added. ***I received this copy from Charmz via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. It is a great book to help learn about not taking games too seriously and enjoying it more than the win. My daughter loved that it was all about hide-and-seek since she plays it often with her brothers and knows how much more fun it is to just enjoy the game. She was able to follow right along and tell me why it’s important to not get upset when you lose.
We especially loved how much in reminded us of Finding Nemo and other movies like it. I don’t doubt that it was a big factor for her wanting to read this book and now wanting to reread it often. I will be getting this book for her collection once it is released.
