How I Became A Whovian

I had never heard of Doctor Who until last year in May… I know, what??? How that happened, I have no idea. But, the minute I heard about it, I knew I had to watch the show and catch up.

I had volunteered for Wizard Con last year in Madison and heard that guests included David Tenant and Alex Kingston from Doctor Who and I would be working at the panels. So, of course, I didn’t want to show up there not knowing what Doctor Who was all about, and so started my love for the doctor. I watched one episode and I was hooked.

I love everything about the Whoniverse, the charismatic doctors, the TARDIS, of course the adventures, seeing all the different characters that are a part of this world, the companions, yup crazy about it all. I then find out that, aside from memorabilia, there are also books dedicated to the doctor. Graphic novels, coloring books, encyclopedias, fairy tale retellings, and tons more.

My collection is not as extensive as I would like. I only have a few items, but I love all of them and looking forward to collecting a lot more books, along with memorabilia. Whatever I have not been able to purchase for my shelves, I borrow from the library. Love also that every season, and special of Doctor Who, is also available for checkout through my local library.

And I’m always checking on the lineup for this coming up Wizard Con, because another favorite character might just show up.

Included in my books are:
