Jen’s Rating: 🌟🌟🌟

REVIEW: Loved the goofiness of all of it. Right from the beginning, she’s singing about being part squirrel and how she fights crime. All while continuing to sing about how life is a big acorn.

Doreen Green is a superhero we are more than glad to see on the pages of her own comics. She’s fun and quirky, but at the same time strong and versatile. She’s about going to college, while still fighting crime. Who says a girl can’t have it all? Not Squirrel Girl because she’s doing it all.

We also have Deadpool’s guide to super villians, which Squirrel Girl uses whenever one pops up or if she’s trying to talk one of them into taking out the others in that deck.

And that’s only part of it. She goes on several more adventures with her squirrel friends, that yes, she talks to in public, not caring whatsoever who hears her. Along the way she also gets herself some Iron Man gear that is customized to her liking, tail and all. Awesome!

This is not an avengers comic at all. Doreen is her own kind of unconventional super hero. Making this comic have all kinds of feels. An amusing, entertaining read that brings humor throughout most of the pages… and of course fighting scenes included.
