BOOK HAUL! – January 2017
First book haul of the year! I might have gone a little overboard lol, but with all the awesome deals, I couldn’t pass them up… and yup, they have a home with me now.
There was snow everywhere, and continuously falling that day and where was I? Out and about searching for awesome book buys. I usually get myself a few books, then maybe a few more throughout the week, but this was overload. And as the snow kept falling, there I was happily choosing all my books, because there was no way I was missing out. Yes! I know it sounds not safe, but I think the books blinded my judgement for a bit.
Well eventually I had to say goodbye to those beautifully filled bookshelves and take my haul home. So hard to walk away! But alas I had to and better that I did or my hubby would have done a double take
I couldn’t wait to get back! Every time I bring books home. or get them via mail, I feel like a kid in a candy store. It makes it even better when most of them are brand new condition and the price stickers are AwEsOmE. Most of the books I picked up will be added to my TBR list along with tons of newer reads. Will I succeed in reading them all??? I sure hope so because I added 100 books to my reading challenge and expect to reach that goal or get pretty close to it.
And where are my books? ⬇️️⬇️️⬇️️
It’s not too many right? Lol… Some of these I watched the movie for but almost all of them I have not read. I mostly stayed within my preferred genre, then I realized I was missing out on tons of good reads!
Paper Towns, Memoirs of a Geisha, Dear John, Nights in Rodanthe, The Best of Me, The Other Boleyn Girl, The Lonely Bones and The Silver Linings are the ones in that set that I had watched its movie version. I am always happily surprised when I get to read the books, always tons more detail and it makes it just that much better. I’m looking forward to these reads.
I hope to get around to other books as well, but will have to see about that. I have added tons more newer books to my list of reads so it might, might not happen… hopefully it’s the latter.
So, here’s to the new year and to a variety of new adventures. And of course, reviews… tons and tons of them.
